Job Title: Product Analyst

Reports To: Manager of Routing Services

Location: Daniel Island, SC

Job Type: Full-Time, Monday -Friday

Salary: $75,000-85,000, based on experience

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Manager of Routing Services, the Product Analyst provides support for routing operations, operational excellence programmatic support, and innovation projects on a corporate level.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation of current routing operations to ensure data integrity and route quality.
  • Perform efficiency studies using routing software tools and GPS data. Analyze this data and provide recommendations to increase efficiency and accuracy of current bus routes.
  • Liaison with routing vendors for API connections between routing software and other platforms.
  • Collaborate with school districts to set up data transfers between routing software and the district’s student information system (SIS).
  • Monitor data exchanges for failures.
  • Assist with implementing new routing software as needed.
  • Create reports for comparative data extracts to QA newly implemented routing software.
  • Assist with routing software training, either in-person or via Teams meetings.
  • Assist with parent applications and onboard technology efforts
  • Develop material and deliver training to location personnel
  • Develop and maintain support materials such as FAQ’s, best practices, etc. to ensure location success across labor, innovation, and/or routing support
  • Testing, feedback, and support on new initiatives, pilots, and/or applications
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2 to 3 years of experience
  • Reviewing, validating, and analyzing data to identify trends, and support operational decision-making
  • Working with routing software, GPS systems, GIS tools, student transportation systems, or similar operational technology
  • Creating reports, documenting processes, and developing user support materials such as FAQs, job aids, or best practice
  • Supporting software implementations, system testing, data integrations, or vendor coordination
  • Training users or providing operational support to field/location personnel
