The Weitz Company is hiring a Construction Technology Business Analyst to join our Information Technology (IT) team! The Construction Technology Business Analyst serves as the liaison between Operations and IT to ensure systems and construction technologies effectively support project execution, field operations, and business objectives. This role combines construction industry experience with technology acumen to improve processes, support users, drive adoption, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. What You’ll Do:
- Work with Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and Operations leadership to identify technology improvement opportunities
- Serve as a trusted advisor for construction technology solutions and translate business challenges into system improvements
- Partner with project teams, operations leadership, learning & development, IT, and vendors to ensure construction technology solutions deliver measurable value across the organization
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Procore and other construction technology solutions
- Provide advanced business process/application support for construction project teams
- Assist with system configuration, process optimization, and standardization efforts while supporting project teams in the effective use of construction technology platforms
- Analyze business processes and recommend solutions to improve efficiency, quality, and user experience
- Identify opportunities to improve data/reporting accuracy, quality, visibility, and decision-making
- Assist with defining business requirements for integrations involving Procore, Workday, and other business systems
- Document current-state and future-state business processes and identify opportunities for automation, data consistency, and workflow optimization
- Support training, communication, and user-adoption efforts and gather feedback from project teams to continuously improve solutions
- Assist with creating/updating training materials and facilitate training sessions when needed
- Promote consistent and effective use of construction technology solutions across the organization
- Develop a strong understanding of Weitz project delivery processes and operational workflows
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in the commercial construction industry in project engineering, project management, operations, or construction technology support
- Experience supporting/improving business processes through technology solutions
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or similar field preferred
- Skills:
- Knowledge of construction documentation including RFIs, submittals, drawings, specifications, and more
- Strong understanding of construction operations and project delivery processes
- Collaborative with the ability to build relationships across the organization using a customer-focused approach
- Highly organized and analytical
- Process improvement mindset and able to translate business requirements into technology solutions
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills
- Ability to lead technology adoption and change management initiatives
- Continuous learning mindset and an excitement for improving business processes
- Strong facilitation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Technology:

- Experience using Procore or similar construction management platforms
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to learn additional specific job-related software upon hire
- Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to work in the office 4 days per week – position allows the ability to work remote 1 day per week
