About the role:

We are seeking a versatile and technical WordPress & AI Automation Developer to own both our web infrastructure and automated business workflows. This hybrid role is designed for a self-starter who can maintain high-performing web platforms while designing and implementing AI agents to automate core operational tasks.

This is the right role for someone who thrives on building scalable web solutions, optimizing technical SEO, and building practical AI-driven automations; it is not the right role for someone who relies solely on basic page builders without deep technical capability or who lacks experience with modern AI APIs and workflow tools.

The ideal candidate will seamlessly bridge web management and modern AI integration—taking technical maintenance, technical SEO, and business process bottleneck solutions into their own hands to drive operational efficiency across the business.

What you’ll be doing:

• Manage end-to-end WordPress site maintenance, core updates, performance optimization, security monitoring, and custom theme/plugin adjustments.

• Implement technical SEO strategies, including schema markup, site architecture enhancement, page speed optimization, and mobile responsiveness.

• Design, build, and deploy custom AI agents and workflow automations to streamline repetitive operational tasks across business departments.

• Integrate third-party APIs, webhooks, and AI models (e.g., OpenAI, custom LLM pipelines, Make/Zapier/n8n) into existing business systems and web applications.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical bugs across WordPress sites and AI automation pipelines proactively.

• Build repeatable documentation for custom-built automated workflows, integrations, and site architecture.

Who are we looking for?

• 2-3 years of professional development experience with WordPress (custom code, PHP, JS, HTML/CSS, technical SEO) and system integrations.

• Hands-on experience building AI automations, AI agents, or workflow pipelines using tools such as Zapier, Make, n8n, Python, or direct LLM APIs.

• Solid understanding of technical SEO principles (crawlability, indexation, structured data, core web vitals).

• Strong problem-solving capability with a business-first mindset toward optimizing time and cost through automation.

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proactive, self-directed, and capable of prioritizing tasks independently across web maintenance and AI development projects.

• Experience working with US clients is preferred.

Position: WordPress & AI Automation Developer

Remote Status: Fully Remote

Working Hours: 9am - 5pm MST

Holidays: US Federal Holidays

Salary: USD 1800 - USD 2200 per month
