We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Data and Analytics

In this role, you will:

• Serve as the cloud-native and data engineering SME, leading end-to-end solution design and implementation on open-source stacks across multiple tenants.

• Lead Data Platform as a Service solution design and reviews; make clear trade-offs across resilience, performance, cost, and time-to-market.

• Drive engineering excellence across CI/CD, automated testing, code quality, and release governance.

• Lead by doing (not managing): guide engineers and teams through complexity and raise engineering standards through day-to-day actions.

• Define reference architectures and reusable patterns for ingestion, transformation, and serving on cloud-native technology stacks with Open Source First mindset.

• Bring modern delivery and operations experience: end-to-end ownership, DevOps practices, and use of operational metrics (e.g., DORA).

• Apply broad engineering exposure across platform/infrastructure/function-as-a-service, plus agile values-based delivery.

• Maintain an AI/ML evolution focus: stay current on applied AI (including Generative AI) and identify practical opportunities to embed AI into data/engineering workflows while maintaining engineering quality.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Strong engineering fundamentals and continuous improvement mindset; willing to learn the best tool/language for the problem.

• Proven experience designing and delivering cloud-native and data engineering solutions end-to-end.

• Demonstrable ability to define and govern reference architectures and reusable engineering patterns.

• Practical experience driving CI/CD, automated testing, code quality and release governance standards.

• Strong understanding of resilience/performance/cost/time-to-market trade-offs in platform design.

• Modern DevOps operating model experience with measurable operational outcomes (e.g., DORA metrics).

• Broad exposure across platform, infrastructure and/or serverless/function-as-a-service engineering.

• Working knowledge of AI/ML trends (including GenAI) and how to apply them responsibly to engineering workflows
