- Provide Level 1 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems including Windows and Mac and basic support for Linux systems.
- Install and maintain productivity applications and collaboration tools.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network connectivity, VPN, and email-related issues.
- Assist users with account access, password resets, and user account support.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding including device setup and access provisioning.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and update asset management records.
- Assist in endpoint management activities such as system updates, patch management, and device monitoring.
- Perform antivirus monitoring and basic security checks on endpoints.
- Provide basic troubleshooting for LAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN connectivity issues.
- Maintain IT documentation and update support records through ticketing or issue tracking systems.
- Coordinate with internal IT teams or external vendors for issue escalation when required.
- Assist with vendor coordination for IT procurement including hardware purchases and software license tracking.
Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with office productivity suites, email platforms, and collaboration tools.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts such as IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
- Basic understanding of VPN connectivity and remote access troubleshooting.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple support requests and prioritize tasks.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Exposure to user account management and directory services.
- Familiarity with endpoint management platforms or device management tools.
- Understanding of basic cybersecurity practices and IT policies.
- Experience with IT asset management and documentation systems.
- Internship or project experience in IT support is an added advantage.
