Requirements

Full description

An ITSM platform is only as useful as the systems it is joined up to.

You will build and maintain the integrations around BMC Helix ITSM at the alliance headquarters in Brussels, as part of a dedicated capacity team.

What you will be doing

  • Designing, building and maintaining integrations between BMC Helix and the surrounding estate
  • Working with APIs, connectors and middleware, and owning the error handling when a feed misbehaves
  • Keeping integration documentation and interface definitions current
  • Testing integrations properly, including the failure paths
  • Supporting the wider team when an incident turns out to be an integration problem

What you will need

  • Integration engineering experience on BMC Helix or a comparable ITSM platform
  • API and middleware work, with the scripting to back it up
  • Enough CMDB understanding to know what your integrations are writing into
  • The professional certifications the requirement asks for, BMC Helix and ITIL among them

Worth knowing before you apply

  • Fully on-site at the alliance headquarters in Brussels
  • You would be joining a small dedicated engineering team, not working alone
  • The engagement runs in two phases: a dedicated capacity phase first, then a managed service phase

Practical detail

  • Contract engagement, initial phase of six to twelve months
  • An active security clearance is required for this role
