You will focus on:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining workflows and decision models in Camunda 8.
  • Building backend services, job workers, and connectors that implement business logic and integrations.
  • Integrating workflows with APIs, messaging, and microservices to ensure seamless end-to-end processes.
  • Ensuring that workflows are reliable, observable, secure, and performant in our cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Building AI into workflows by using Camunda agents and exploring AI frameworks and services that can be connected as agents.

Requirements: Primary (Camunda and workflow development):

  • Proven experience working with Camunda BPM and/or Camunda 8.
  • Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing workflows and decision models in BPMN and DMN.
  • Proficiency with Camunda Modeler and core concepts such as job workers and connectors.
  • Experience developing and implementing Camunda job workers and connectors as part of workflow solutions.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimise process execution and performance within the Camunda ecosystem.
  • Understanding of Camunda components such as Operate, Optimize and OpenSearch, and how to use them for monitoring, analysis and optimisation of workflows.

Secondary (backend, integration, cloud):

  • Strong Java and Spring Boot skills, with experience designing, building, testing and documenting REST APIs.
  • Experience with microservices, SOA and event-driven integrations using tools such as RabbitMQ, IBM MQ or Kafka.
  • Good SQL and database knowledge, plus a solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Working knowledge of AWS or other PaaS platforms, containerisation and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift.

We Offer:

  • An inspiring environment in a large IT organization.
