Accountabilities:

  • Lead the technical deployment, configuration, integration, and ongoing optimization of autonomous security and vulnerability management platforms across high-security enterprise, government, and defense environments.
  • Deploy solutions within sovereign, restricted, and air-gapped networks while adapting implementations to customer-specific infrastructure, security requirements, and operational constraints.
  • Read, analyze, and modify production code across languages such as Python, Go, Rust, and C/C++ to support vulnerability identification, remediation, patch verification, and security tooling integrations.
  • Investigate complex security challenges involving memory safety, logic flaws, web and network attack surfaces, and emerging or zero-day vulnerabilities.
  • Integrate security capabilities into complex IT/OT, VPC, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, authentication, and cross-domain environments.
  • Work directly with customer engineering teams, security operations centers, system administrators, and operational leadership to troubleshoot issues and deliver effective technical solutions.
  • Navigate stringent security, compliance, authentication, networking, and operational requirements while maintaining execution speed and deployment quality.
  • Establish trusted technical relationships with customers and serve as a subject matter expert in vulnerability management, automated remediation, and cyber defense.
  • Capture operational edge cases and customer feedback from field deployments and translate them into actionable requirements for internal Engineering and AI teams.
  • Contribute to improving core platform capabilities by identifying recurring deployment challenges, technical gaps, and opportunities for automation.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of technical outcomes in high-stakes environments, balancing security rigor, customer requirements, and practical execution.

Requirements:

  • Active UK SC/DV, EU Secret, NATO Secret, or equivalent national security clearance.
  • Strong professional experience as a Security Engineer, Software Engineer, Systems Engineer, or similar technical role with substantial hands-on security responsibilities.
  • Ability to read, write, debug, and modify production-quality code in one or more languages such as Python, Go, Rust, or C/C++.
  • Deep understanding of core vulnerability classes, including memory safety issues, logic flaws, web and network attack surfaces, and zero-day vulnerability dynamics.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, vulnerability management, remediation, security hardening, and automated defense.
  • Comfortable working with complex enterprise architectures, including Linux, IT/OT environments, VPCs, Docker, Kubernetes, and air-gapped networks.
  • Experience integrating software or security platforms into complex customer environments with strict operational, security, and compliance constraints.
  • Excellent customer-facing communication skills, with the ability to explain sophisticated technical concepts clearly to both senior decision-makers and hands-on technical teams.
  • Strong systems-thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to investigate unfamiliar environments and develop pragmatic technical solutions.
  • High level of autonomy, ownership, and adaptability when operating in fast-moving and high-pressure environments.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to act as an effective bridge between customers and internal engineering, security, and AI teams.
  • Genuine interest in national security, sovereign cyber defense, cybersecurity innovation, and technologies that help protect critical infrastructure and democratic societies.
  • Comfortable working with distributed teams across Europe and North America and traveling to customer environments when required.

Benefits:

  • Opportunity to work at the intersection of AI, cybersecurity, automation, and enterprise resilience.
  • High-impact work focused on protecting sensitive organizations, critical infrastructure, and democratic societies from sophisticated cyber threats.
  • High-autonomy environment with significant ownership over customer deployments and technical outcomes.
  • Opportunity to collaborate with highly experienced professionals across AI, software engineering, and cybersecurity.
  • Exposure to technically challenging environments, including high-security, sovereign, and air-gapped infrastructures.
  • Opportunity to influence the evolution of security products by bringing real-world customer challenges directly to engineering and AI teams.
  • Fast-moving, talent-dense environment with a strong emphasis on ownership, velocity, and low-ego collaboration.
