Full description

About Us Scapia! A credit card that's out there to make travel happen for people, by converting their everyday expenses into travel experiences. We're a bunch of passionate people who work together, brainstorm, and debate with each other, and don't stop until we're proud of our work. Customer delight tops everything else! We've worked hard to create an environment of honesty and passion that sets everyone up for success.

About the Role We are looking for Flutter Engineers with 2 to 6 years of experience to join the frontend team at Scapia. You will be placed in a pod based on where your strengths fit. You will work across surfaces spanning card onboarding and servicing, UPI and bill payments, travel search and checkout, rewards, and the shared design system beneath them. You will collaborate closely with design, backend, product and our bank and supplier partner teams to take a surface from spec through to a staged production rollout.

What You'll Do

Feature Ownership

  • Own customer-facing surfaces end to end, from problem definition and technical design through

rollout, adoption metrics and the on-call that follows.

  • Set the technical direction for your surface and make the architecture calls that keep it changeable

a year from now.

  • Partner with design, product and backend to turn ambiguous problem statements into shipped,

measured experiences. Cards and Payments

  • Build and scale the card experience across onboarding, activation, limits, statements, EMI and

rewards.

  • Deliver payment experiences that are fast, reliable and compliant, spanning UPI, bill payments and

card transactions.

  • Shape how the app adapts to multiple bank partners, so that a single change ships safely across

every programme.

Travel Commerce

  • Build high-converting search, booking and checkout journeys across flights, stays, trains, buses,

visas and experiences.

  • Create discovery and merchandising surfaces that help customers evaluate options and choose with

confidence.

  • Own post-booking experiences spanning cancellations, refunds, rewards and customer

communication.

App Health and Performance

  • Continuously improve app performance, stability and size across ANRs, crashes, startup time and

memory.

  • Strengthen observability through crash reporting, instrumentation and analytics that teams can act

on.

  • Advance release engineering, including staged rollouts, remote kill switches and over-the-air

patching on Android and iOS.

Platform and Craft

  • Contribute to the shared design system and widget library that every surface at Scapia is built on.
  • Champion clean architecture, testing and code quality, from golden tests to end-to-end

automation.

  • Raise the bar for the team through spec reviews, code reviews and the tooling you build along the

way.

How We Build

Every change here starts as a written spec that is reviewed and approved before implementation begins. AI agents do a lot of the work in between: generating implementation from an approved spec, turning Figma components into design system code, and cleaning up dead feature flags. The review bar has not changed. You own the design, you review the diff, and you answer for it in production.

What We're Looking For

  • 2 to 6 years of Flutter experience, with at least one app shipped to a store and supported in

production.

  • Strong Dart fundamentals and real depth in state management with Bloc or Cubit.
  • Ability to read a crash report or a trace and work backwards to the cause.
  • Clear written communication. Specs, pull request descriptions and incident notes are a large part of

the job.

  • Comfort with ownership: your own builds, the pager for your surface, and your own production

debugging.

Good to Have

  • Native Android (Kotlin) or iOS (Swift) depth for platform channel work.
  • Experience with a shared SDK or a multi-flavour app where one change affects several products.
  • Prior experience in fintech, payments, travel or another regulated or transaction-led domain.
  • Startup mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, fast iteration, and wearing multiple hats.
