Aerospace & Defense Business Operations Analyst – Demand
ADG’s Business Operations Analyst will play a key role in driving forecast accuracy and customer & operational insights into our S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) and Demand Planning processes. Our Business Analyst within the BU serves as a key business partner between BU Operations, Product Management, Global Operations (Demand and Supply Chain), and Sales, among others. This role requires an individual with experience leveraging data, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration to improve forecast accuracy, balance supply and demand, identify business risks and opportunities, and support executive decision-making.
In This Role your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Partner with Product Management, Global Operations, BU Operations & Business Management, Demand & Supply Chain, and Sales to support the monthly S&OP process
- Develop a deep understanding of business strategies, processes, operations, through a data-driven perspective
- Analyze demand, bookings, backlog, inventory, supply constraints, and fulfillment performance to identify risks and opportunities
- Gather and communicate insights to drive positive business impact
- Monitor demand signals, supply risks, and customer escalations, providing timely visibility and recommendations to executive leadership
- Document business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement process enhancements to increase organizational efficiency
- Support monthly planning cycles, including forecasting, demand planning, and operational reviews

For This Role You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree, with > 5 years of related experience
- Display a high degree of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated ability to use data-driven insights to evaluate risks, opportunities, and business performance
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and an ability to influence
- Experience working with large data sets and multiple business systems
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Business acumen and analytical capabilities; ability to use data-driven insights to make decisions and evaluate risks and opportunities.
- Experience with data management and visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, and Salesforce Analytics a plus
- Experience supporting S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes, and/or experience working within Kinaxis Demand & Supply Tool (Maestro)
Overall, this role is critical in enabling effective business planning and operational execution across the ADG organization. The Business Operations Analyst will serve as a key partner and liaison across the Business Operations and Product Management teams, while maintaining strong cross-functional relationships across the organization. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, collaborative, and comfortable navigating ambiguity while influencing outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups.
