This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior / Lead Data Analyst based in Brazil.

This role offers the opportunity to shape data-driven strategy for subscription products within a collaborative Decision Science environment. You will analyze customer behavior across the full subscription lifecycle, from acquisition and engagement to retention and churn. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Design, Finance, and Data teams, you will turn complex datasets into insights that influence product and business decisions. You will play a key role in defining KPIs, improving measurement frameworks, and identifying opportunities for growth and customer retention. The position combines advanced SQL, experimentation, statistical analysis, data visualization, and customer analytics. You will also help strengthen tracking, data quality, and analytics best practices across subscription products. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced analyst who enjoys solving ambiguous problems and translating data into meaningful business outcomes.

Accountabilities:

  • Partner with Product, Design, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Data teams to define and evolve KPIs and performance metrics across acquisition, engagement, retention, and churn.
  • Analyze subscription customer behavior to identify trends, patterns, growth opportunities, engagement drivers, and retention challenges.
  • Develop actionable insights that help inform product strategy, customer experience, and broader business decisions.
  • Design and support A/B tests and experimentation programs, including hypothesis development, experiment design, statistical analysis, and post-test evaluation.
  • Apply statistical methods and causal inference techniques to assess the impact of product and business initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to improve behavioral tracking, data models, data quality, and analytical reliability.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards and reporting solutions using BI platforms such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Identify analytical and measurement gaps and implement improvements to the data and reporting processes supporting subscription products.
  • Establish and promote best practices for customer tracking, analytics, experimentation, KPI definition, and measurement.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Use customer and product data to proactively surface business opportunities and support evidence-based decision-making.
  • Contribute to a culture of data-driven product development through knowledge sharing, analytical standards, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Product Analyst, Decision Scientist, or in a similar analytical role.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience working with complex, production-level SQL and independently developing high-quality queries.
  • Strong expertise in experimental design, A/B testing, statistical analysis, and causal inference.
  • 3+ years of experience implementing custom tracking and establishing analytics best practices using a Customer Data Platform (CDP), such as Segment.
  • Professional experience with BI and data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
  • Experience working with dbt and/or ETL environments and an understanding of data transformation workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with client-side analytics and tagging technologies such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or Amplitude.
  • Strong understanding of customer behavior and subscription data modeling.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify patterns, trends, opportunities, and potential business risks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2+) or higher.
  • Ability to work effectively across Product and Data teams in a fast-paced, collaborative, and international environment.
  • Python experience for data analysis and automation is a plus.
  • Experience with AWS and Databricks is a plus.
  • Experience in subscription-based businesses, particularly consumer-facing industries such as healthtech, e-commerce, or streaming, is highly valued.
  • Experience working in compliance-driven environments, such as HIPAA- or PCI-regulated settings, is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with the healthcare industry and its evolving landscape is a plus.
