The People Insights Analyst is responsible for transforming people data into meaningful insights that support business decision-making. Combining HR systems knowledge, analytical skills and data storytelling, the role develops reports, dashboards and insights that help leaders make informed workforce decisions and support the transition from manual reporting to automated, value-adding analytics.
A key aspect of the role is ensuring the accuracy and integrity of People data. You will need to validate outputs, perform spot checks, sense-check results, and independently verify calculations using alternative methods where appropriate. By developing a strong understanding of data sources, business rules and known data quality issues, challenge unexpected results and provide stakeholders with confidence in the accuracy of reported insights.

Role Purpose
The People Insights Analyst is responsible for transforming people data into meaningful insights that support business decision-making. Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of data quality through detailed validation, testing, reconciliation and quality assurance of all reporting outputs.
- Validate calculations, metrics and insights to ensure accuracy, consistency and reliability before distribution.
- Develop a deep understanding of People data sources, business rules and known data quality issues, identifying anomalies and independently verifying results using alternative methodologies where appropriate.
- Maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide meaningful workforce insights.
- Translate stakeholder requests into clear analytical requirements and actionable insights.
- Produce regular and ad-hoc analysis
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across reporting outputs.
- Work with HR, business leaders, and other stakeholders to understand business challenges and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Support the automation and continuous improvement of People reporting processes.
- Present findings in a clear and compelling way to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience working within HR, People Analytics
- Strong experience using Workday, including reporting and data extraction.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Proven ability to work with large and complex datasets, ensuring data accuracy, integrity and quality throughout the analysis process.
- Experience translating business questions into analytical solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to explain complex data in a simple, business-friendly way.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, etc.).
