We are looking for a Senior Software Developer who can help us build the next generation of information-enabled supply chain management software running 24/7 in a high-performance cloud-based environment.

What the role offers:

• The opportunity to work with modern development technologies, including Java/J2EE, Spring-based services, REST/SOAP APIs, web technologies, and data serialization frameworks.
• Develop and support enterprise-grade applications within both Windows and Linux development environments.
• Hands-on experience applying AI-driven approaches and emerging technologies to enhance product development and innovation.
• Involvement in designing and developing scalable applications leveraging relational databases and object-oriented design principles.
• Experience with industry-leading open-source technologies and development tools, including Apache Tomcat, GitLab, Maven, and Selenium.
• Participation in modern software delivery practices, including continuous integration, automated testing, performance validation, and quality assurance processes.
• Collaboration with a high-performing development team focused on building reliable, scalable, and innovative software solutions. 

What you need to succeed:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

5+ years of experience developing and delivering enterprise software products.

Strong proficiency in Java-centric development, including Java/J2EE, Spring Web Services, SOAP/REST APIs, GWT/GXT, AJAX, JSON, and JAXB serialization.

Experience working with relational databases, particularly Microsoft SQL Server, and a solid understanding of object-oriented design principles and modeling techniques.

Familiarity with modern development tools and open-source technologies, including Apache Tomcat, GitLab, Maven, and Selenium.

Experience with software development best practices, including continuous integration, automated testing, performance testing, and quality assurance processes.

Understanding of AI concepts and the ability to apply AI-driven approaches to solve development challenges.

Strong coding, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a passion for designing scalable, high-performance, and configurable software solutions.

Self-motivated and collaborative, with the ability to work effectively across Development, Product Management, Operations, and Professional Services teams.

Experience developing solutions in both Windows and Linux environments and a deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle.

Compensation: At OpenText, we offer a thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing. As you move through the hiring process, we’re happy to provide more details about our compensation programs, including variable and commission compensation opportunities for eligible roles, vacation entitlement, and paid time off.

Salary Range: $98,080.00 - $147,120.00; Depending on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
