About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and motivated DevOps Intern to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will gain hands-on exposure to cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and modern DevOps practices while working alongside experienced engineers.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with modern DevOps tools and is eager to grow in a fast-paced, AI-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Support cloud and development infrastructure activities under the guidance of senior DevOps engineers.
- Assist with CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and related activities.
- Monitor dashboards, alerts, logs, and system health.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and escalate issues when required.
- Support infrastructure automation and assist with Terraform changes.
- Follow security, confidentiality, and least-privilege practices.
- Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and deployment records.
- Collaborate with DevOps, development, and QA teams on day-to-day activities.
- Track assigned tasks and provide regular progress updates.
- Follow established procedures and avoid making unauthorized production or infrastructure changes.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Basic knowledge of GCP and cloud services.
- Understanding of Linux and command-line tools.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD and deployment processes.
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
- Basic understanding of Docker and containers.
- Awareness of networking, storage, and virtual machines.
- Basic scripting knowledge using Bash or Python.
- Familiarity with Terraform is an advantage.
- Experience or exposure to Kubernetes is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of databases and cybersecurity concepts is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Jira and Agile practices is an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Good communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
