About the Opportunity
BizTech Fusion is hiring a Data Engineer on behalf of one of its clients.
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to build and maintain scalable data platforms, data pipelines, AI/ML workflows, and cloud-based solutions supporting enterprise software products. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, SQL, data modeling, ETL, cloud platforms, AI/ML, and modern data engineering practices.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant software or data engineering experience.
- Experience with Python and SQL.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling and database concepts.
- Hands-on experience designing and developing ETL processes and data pipelines.
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks and workflows.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
- Strong understanding of software development fundamentals.
- Experience with system design and architecture.
- Full-stack development exposure is preferred, particularly Angular and Node.js.
- Oil & Gas industry experience is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Develop and manage end-to-end AI/ML pipelines.
- Support data modeling, data integration, and data quality initiatives.
- Design and deploy cloud-native data and AI solutions.
- Develop and implement LLM and Generative AI solutions.
- Build solutions using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Work with vector databases and vector search technologies.
- Develop and manage prompt orchestration pipelines.
- Ensure data governance, security, and responsible AI practices.
- Monitor production systems for reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Participate in architecture and design decisions for enterprise-scale data and AI platforms.
- Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, architects, and other cross-functional teams.
