Sr. Data Analyst, Data Analysis Finance Digital Partner

Department/Team Overview

We are a collaborative, growth-minded team that leverages innovative technology and data insights to solve complex challenges, reimagine business models, and deliver meaningful products. Our work supports Corporate Finance functions - Revenue Management - by simplifying operations and driving P&L impact through Agile methodologies (Scrum + Kanban) and Operational Excellence.

Role Overview

The Sr. Data Analyst plays a key role in designing and delivering intelligent digital solutions that transform business processes. This position involves understanding existing workflows, documenting systems, and developing requirements for innovative solutions using automation and advanced analytics. The role emphasizes experimentation, rapid prototyping, and close collaboration with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Document and evaluate business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements. Define problem statements and conduct analysis to develop actionable plans for resolution.
  • Collaborate with core team and cross-functional project teams to brainstorm, develop, and recommend effective solutions.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to validate or refute hypotheses and uncover underlying issues. Analyze, interpret, and evaluate data and scenarios to make informed judgments.
  • Engage and manage stakeholder relationships to clearly define and document business challenges.
  • Lead AI exploration and opportunity initiatives in partnership with business stakeholders, helping them build practical skills to solve business problems and perform day-to-day work more efficiently.
  • Lead pre-execution activities including opportunity identification (ideation and discovery), feasibility studies, and requirements gathering.
  • Present complex data insights clearly and concisely using storytelling techniques tailored to the audience. Simplify findings and proactively communicate key messages.
  • Support financial processes such as budgeting, forecasting, and business case development. Manage and contribute to projects from planning through deployment, ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Prioritize tasks, manage time, and maintain attention to detail to meet deadlines and ensure quality.
  • Partner with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to design data models and support standardized reporting of key metrics.
  • Lead analytics initiatives that deliver measurable ROI, guiding business teams in solving complex analytical problems.
  • Mentor junior colleagues and offshore resources, providing guidance and support.
  • Demonstrate a proactive, collaborative mindset with strong emotional intelligence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • 8-12 years of experience, preferred
  • Experience analyzing data leveraging SQL, R, Python to data models in GCP (BigQuery, BigTable, AtScale) while producing concepts in data visualization tools or algorithms required
  • Generative AI and Databricks experience preferred
  • Experience in writing basic SQL queries, stored procedures, etc. required
  • Experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Looker preferred
  • Healthcare and finance analytics experience preferred
  • Have excellent verbal and oral communication skills
  • Experience in Agile methodologies preferred

Anticipated salary range: $105,100 - $150,100
