The Practice- A Brief Sketch:
The Resilient & Sustainable Value Chain Practice is a part of Accenture Supply Chain Consulting and enables greater resiliency, sustainability and efficiency with end-to-end capabilities. We help organizations embed sustainability into every aspect of their supply chain to enable them to unlock greater value through responsible transformations.
We provide you with a great learning ground, deep-rooted in Sustainable Value Chain, where you will get an opportunity to advise and work with our key global clients, driving end-to-end transformative strategic value and business growth. We also work with global organizations such as the World Economic Forum, the United Nations Global Compact and World Business Council for Sustainable Development. As a part of this high performing team, these are some of the areas you will consult clients on:
- Resilient Supply Chain Strategy: Work closely with clients to assess vulnerabilities across their value chains and co-develop end-to-end resilience and sustainability strategies tailored to their business context.
- Sustainable Value Creation: Help clients build supply chain operating models that are economically efficient while embedding environmental and social responsibility across procurement, operations, and logistics.
- Supply Chain Transformation Road-Maps: Develop implementation road maps for resilient and sustainable supply chains, leveraging data-driven insights across themes such as circular economy, supply chain decarbonization, traceability, and responsible sourcing.
- Industry Partner Alliances: Work with notable organizations like UN, WEF, FICCI and prominent business leaders to shape sustainable business agendas.
- Supply Chain Decarbonization: Develop a deep understanding of Scope 3 emissions, low-carbon logistics, and supplier decarbonization strategies, and drive meaningful conversations around net zero transition across value chains.
- Circular & Traceable Supply Chains: Design go-to-market and entry strategies for clients embedding circularity, traceability, and regulatory compliance (EUDR, CSDDD, DPP) into their supply chain and product strategies.
- Technology-Enabled Supply Chains: Work with clients to assess the digital maturity and environmental footprint of their supply chain technology landscape and recommend strategies leveraging AI, platforms, and data to drive efficiency and sustainability.
What are we looking for – Must have skillset!
- MBA from a tier 1 institute with 0-3 years of (post-MBA) work experience in consulting or related fields (preferrable)
- Strategic & Consulting Mindset - Ability to work on complex client problems and recommend innovative approaches and solutions
- Skillset to analyse large amounts of qualitative and quantitative data to draw insights and trends
- Structured problem solving and strong analytical skills
- Ability to present the recommendations in a compelling narrative through client ready deliverables.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to leverage that to for project delivery and stakeholder management
- Building on relationships with potential and existing clients and be responsible for business development in assigned areas
- Potential to work with diverse teams and to be able to foster learning, exchange and innovation
- Grasp of MS power point, Excel and Word is important. Other tools like Power BI, Tableau is a plus
- Build analytical use cases in AI/ML/Gen AI across different functions
- Ability to work with large data sets and present findings / insights to key stakeholders; Data management using databases like SQL, Oracle, S3 buckets and likes of the same
- Development, and deployment of sophisticated AI agents and multi-modal AI solutions that can autonomously execute complex business workflows. in supply chain and sustainability contexts

AREA 1: RISK & RESILIENCE
- Experience in Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) — including supplier risk assessments, risk scoring frameworks, and sustainability-linked due diligence
- Hands-on experience with N-tier visibility tools and scenario simulation
- Ability to design and implement supplier risk monitoring frameworks, including financial, operational, and ESG-linked risk indicators
- Experience conducting supply chain risk mapping — identifying single points of failure, geographic concentration risks, and supplier dependency analysis
- Ability to develop risk mitigation roadmaps and resilience strategies that integrate sustainability considerations across supply chains
- Experience working with risk and resilience platforms such as Osapiens, Interos, or ProcessUnity
OR
AREA 2: TRACEABILITY
- Strong understanding of traceability regulations and standards including EUDR, CSDDD, PPWR, Digital Product Passport (DPP), and GS1 standards
- Exposure to sector-specific compliance requirements (e.g., batteries, textiles, electronics, industrial products) and their associated data and reporting obligations
- Experience designing and implementing traceability and transparency solutions across complex, multi-tier supply chains
- Familiarity with Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), product-level carbon footprint methodologies, and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) approaches
- Knowledge of regulatory landscape including product compliance frameworks (EU Taxonomy, CBAM)
- Experience with ESG data and technology architecture for traceability use cases
- Ability to gather business requirements, identify platform fits and gaps, and develop functional specifications for traceability and sustainability reporting use cases
- Ability to interpret complex, multi-source data sets and map data elements across systems, value chain steps, and stakeholders

AREA 3: CIRCULAR SUPPLY CHAINS
- Strong experience working on circular economy projects across thematic areas such as plastic packaging, e-waste, textiles
- Experience designing circular transformation strategies across supply chains — including reverse logistics, take-back model design, and material flow analysis
- Knowledge of technology enablement and service plays that support circularity — including digital platforms (e.g. Agora) for tracking material flows and closed-loop systems
- Understanding of circular strategy and business model design, including circular operating model design and sustainable product portfolio steering
- Experience with supplier assessments and engagements using tools such as EcoVadis

AREA 4: SUPPLY CHAIN DECARBONIZATION
- Strong experience in supplier decarbonization managed programs — including supplier engagement & onboarding, emissions baselining, and decarbonization roadmap development
- Experience with science-based target setting (SBTi) and delivering science-based targets as a service
- Deep understanding of Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions accounting, carbon neutrality strategies, and low-carbon energy transition across key geographies (US, EU, India, Australia)
- Strong experience working on clean energy projects including onsite/offsite Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), and carbon offsets
- Experience with ESG reporting frameworks and sustainability data platforms (SAP, Workiva, Enablon, Oracle, MSM) for carbon and climate disclosure use cases
- Understanding of ESG Intelligence capabilities including gap assessment vs ESG frameworks, GenAI-powered sustainability report generation, and end-to-end ESG platform implementation
