Job Role: Business Analyst / Technical Analyst (BA/TA) - AI

Contract Duration: 6 months

Location: London / Sheffield (Hybrid - 3 days on site)

Daily Rate: Inside IR35

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst / Technical Analyst to collaborate with Cyber, Security Operations Center (SOC), and Technology teams in shaping and delivering AI-enabled cybersecurity capabilities. The role involves translating complex operational challenges into clear, actionable requirements, defining success criteria, and ensuring that solutions are user-friendly, well-controlled, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with Cyber, SOC, and Technology

stakeholders to understand operational problems and identify AI-driven solutions.

  • Translate business and operational needs into

detailed, clear, and testable requirements.

  • Define success measures and key performance

indicators (KPIs) for AI-enabled cybersecurity capabilities.

  • Work closely with development and engineering

teams to ensure solutions meet requirements and compliance standards.

  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and

validation of AI solutions to ensure usability and control.

  • Facilitate communication between technical teams

and business stakeholders to maintain alignment.

  • Document processes, requirements, and outcomes to

support governance and audit needs.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience as a Business Analyst or Technical

Analyst, preferably in cybersecurity or AI-related projects.

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity operations,

SOC functions, and technology environments.

  • Ability to translate complex operational issues

into clear, actionable requirements.

  • Familiarity with AI technologies and their

application in cybersecurity.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder

management skills.

  • Experience with requirements management and

documentation tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in financial services or regulated

industries.

  • Knowledge of compliance and governance frameworks

relevant to cybersecurity and AI.

  • Understanding of AI ethics and responsible AI

practices.

abilities.

Additional Information:

  • This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week
