Main responsibilities:
- Assist on a diverse range of data protection, cybersecurity and technology law matters, including privacy compliance and risk management, artificial intelligence governance, digital regulation, and the processing of consumer, customer and employee data.
- Assist in analyzing conformity with data protection regulations and ensure that agreements comply with data protection laws.
- Advise on obligations of data controllers and data processors, on cross-border transfers of personal data, on security of personal data and on managing data breaches, to conduct trainings on data protection laws tailored to different industries, to draft privacy notices and cookie notices etc.
- Manage data protection, privacy and cybersecurity issues with a technical understanding of evolving new technologies and emerging regulatory frameworks.
- Advise on the development, procurement and deployment of artificial intelligence systems and other emerging technologies, including governance, risk classification, transparency, contracting and compliance with applicable EU digital regulation, such as the EU AI Act and the Data Act.
- Advise clients on cybersecurity governance, operational resilience, incident preparedness and regulatory compliance, including under the NIS2 Directive, DORA and the Critical Entities Resilience Directive, and support readiness assessments, gap analyses, contractual reviews, incident response and regulatory notifications.
- Provide high-quality legal advice to clients on day-to-day data protection, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, digital regulation and technology law matters.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law.
- A Master's degree with a specialization in data protection, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, digital regulation or technology law, ideally from a top-tier university, and/or a relevant professional qualification, such as CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT or an information-security certification, will be valued. An IT or information-security background will also be considered an asset.
- Qualified as an attorney-at-law in Greece.
- Excellent command of English (both oral and written).
- Proven track record of 4–6 years PQE both from an advisory and law enforcement-oriented practice.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
- Analytical and drafting skills, clear and concise writing, attention to detail.
- Commitment, integrity, team spirit and work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member under strict deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills and commercial awareness.
