Overview
The Payment Cancellation Service enables issuers to block specific unwanted card-not-present transactions during authorization and clearing, reducing associated chargebacks and helping to ensure a positive cardholder experience.
Role
Successfully lead major projects and complex assignments with broad scope and long-term business implications. Create solutions with high level of innovation, cost effectiveness, high quality and faster time to market. Lead day-to-day system development and maintenance activities to meet service level agreements (SLAs). Skilled at learning quickly, implementing new technologies, frameworks and tools and supporting multiple concurrent activities.

- Hands-on technical leader with experience in managing applications and
resources
- Lead an engineering team that will build, operate and maintain software to
meet business needs
- Obsessed with results, and effectively communicate the objectives and
how success will be measured to the team members.
- Collaborate with other teams (ex. Business stakeholders, production
operations, program management) to achieve business goals.
- Develop and drive metrics for team delivery through in-house and vendor
(SaaS) based tools.
- Innovate for our internal Customers - take a long-term perspective to build
systems and features.
- Interface with internal business stakeholders to understand requirements,
priorities, and processes
- Help define long-term development and business technology strategies
- Hire, mentor, and retain a best-of-class engineering team and foster strong
team culture
- Perform Quality Inspections and Walkthroughs, Architecture Review,
Design Review, Code Review and Security Review to ensure compliance with MasterCard standards. Advanced Software development experience with intermediate experience as a Development Manager.
- Advanced knowledge of Software Engineering Concepts and
Methodologies
- Detail-oriented, proactive and able to function under pressure in an
independent environment along with a high degree of initiative and self- motivation to drive results.
- Strong communication skills - both verbal and written – and strong
relationship, collaboration skills.
