Role Description (and additional job description)
You have a talent for solving problems and love digging into data to uncover the 'why' behind the 'what'. With your coding skills in SQL and talent for creating insightful visualizations (Looker/GCP), you'll build tools that help teams make smarter decisions. You're a pro at collaborating with others, managing projects, and clearly communicating your findings – all while thriving in a continuously evolving environment.
In this role, you’ll:
- Collaborate with teams across the organization (e.g. Network Engineering and Operations, Field Operations, etc ) to build data-driven dashboards, reports, and insights. These tools will help with prioritizing business strategy and projects.
- Dive deep into complex data to drive and solve thought provoking business problems.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to dive deep into data to uncover key findings, and present your recommendations effectively.
- Take ownership of your work. This includes managing projects from start to finish, proactively addressing challenges, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of your deliverables.
At a minimum, we would like you to have:
- Bachelor's degree in analytics, computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience working with data sets, visualizations, modeling and dashboards.
- 3 years experience utilizing data based modeling to present to stakeholders at all levels.
- 3 years experience utilizing SQL to turn raw data into actionable intelligence using your expertise dashboard technologies and data visualization tools.
It’s preferred that you have:
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform tools for data analysis and visualization (e.g., BigQuery, Looker).
- Knowledge working with ticketing systems like Service Now and Salesforce, and network systems like Netcracker, Axiros, and Alepo.
- Experience collaborating with colleagues across teams to successfully deliver projects and prioritize tasks.
- Comprehensive understanding in translating data analysis into actionable business recommendations.
- Exceptional communication skills, with experience presenting to technical and non-technical audiences, facilitating discussions, and adapting communication style to meet audience needs.
- An understanding of how systems and tools interact with data and analytics, and the ability to collaborate with engineering teams to optimize these relationships.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $129,600 - $190,100 + bonus + benefits. As pay varies by location, your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
