Description of the position:

Proactively assist and support the Planning Team in daily tasks and responsibilities, supporting creation and maintaining a high-quality Maintenance Database, including job cards and information for manhours, materials, tools, equipment, and other relevant data, in compliance with aviation regulations, customer requirements, and LHT processes. Adheres to established processes for creating, maintaining, and updating the Maintenance Database, ensuring alignment with applicable maintenance data, existing databases for layover planning, and FAA requirements.

Essential responsibilites:

Database Maintenance & Data review

  • Assist in creating, handling, and updating the Maintenance Database, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations (EASA, FAA, LBA, etc.), customer requirements, and LHT processes.
  • Support the timely update of the Maintenance Database to reflect the latest maintenance data and revisions.
  • Help ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of the Maintenance Database.
  • Participate in quality checks to identify and resolve inconsistencies or errors under supervision.
  • Assist in reviewing maintenance data, WSA documents, Critical Maintenance Task Lists, and other maintenance-related records.
  • Identify CDCCL Tasks, AD, EO, Component Changes, CPCP Tasks, special/NDT Tasks, Critical Tasks and Independent Inspections, Repeated Identical Tasks and apply the relevant regulations in the job cards
  • Identify the required access from the maintenance tasks
  • Help identify and properly assign tasks and attributes as man hours, materials, tools, equipment, and production phases into the Maintenance Database under guidance.
  • Support the preparation of coversheet Job Cards when required.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Collect and organize feedback from internal teams (Production, Quality, Logistics and Tooling), customers, and other parties regarding Maintenance Database quality.
  • Learn and apply industry best practices to support accuracy and consistency in database management.
  • Maintain awareness of production needs and certification standards.

Quality and Compliance:

  • Conduct basic quality checks of received documentation.
  • Ensure creation of database comply with FAA Part 145, RSQCM, IQ MOVE, training program requirements and internal standards.
  • Liaise with the quality department as needed for documentation and compliance matters.
  • Assist in implementing customer-specific requirements (e.g., TPM/JPM) into the Maintenance Database
  • Maintain awareness of aircraft maintenance developments and production capabilities.
  • Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Education, skills and competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aircraft Engineering or in relevant engineering field
  • Minimum of two years of experience in aircraft maintenance / design / manufacturing environment.
  • Professional training in aircraft maintenance with a minimum of three years of experience in aircraft maintenance / design / manufacturing environment
  • Good understanding of creation and control of customer maintenance programs and MPD
  • General familiarization course for at least one of the aircraft types maintained in the facility primarily stationed.
  • Good knowledge of aircraft documentation, understanding of airworthiness, FAA requirements and aviation regulations, industry standards, and best practices for aircraft maintenance
  • Ability to interpret Customer & OEM technical documentation.
  • Microsoft Office literacy; experience with SAP/mJobCard advantageous.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
