About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

About Trailhead

Trailhead is Salesforce's free online learning platform and the front door to the Salesforce ecosystem. It empowers anyone to build in-demand skills across AI, Agentforce, CRM, data, and business fundamentals, and helps organizations re-skill their workforce for the agentic era. Today, Trailhead is also an AI-powered learning experience, with personalized pathways and the Trailhead Learning Agent guiding learners every step of the way.

The Trailhead Content team generates ideas, writes and edits content, develops hands-on challenges, and publishes and maintains the learning content that makes all of this possible. We believe content should be accessible, educational, relevant, and enjoyable. Right now, we're building some of the most important learning content in the Salesforce ecosystem. This is your chance to be part of it.

Role Description

As a Data Analyst, Program and Operations, you help turn Trailhead content into a growth lever for the business. By setting a disciplined rhythm of review and action with stakeholders, you're positioned to spot what's actually working for sellers and customers — not by chance, but by design. You're the business partner for our stakeholders: highlighting where signals need action, whether that's fixing a problem or chasing an opportunity, and keeping content creators honest to improvement. You keep the team's operating rhythm running smoothly — intake, review cycles, and delivery across the Content Intelligence Engine, the learner survey program, and business impact work. You're a genuine hybrid of program manager, analytics operations manager, and data analyst: technical enough to run your own reports, operationally sharp enough to keep things moving.

What You'll Do

  • Own governance cadence — stand up and run review cycles, help ratify metric and cohort definitions across content performance, learner feedback, and business impact with stakeholders.
  • Own intake and prioritization — manage incoming requests and backlog across all three workstreams; keep builds on track with real project management (sprint planning, capacity, dependencies).
  • Spot what's working — through the review cadence you run, identify content and approaches that are actually landing with sellers and customers, and flag them as opportunities worth scaling.
  • Enable stakeholders on data and dashboards — train and support content owners, Trailhead leadership, and business stakeholders consuming outputs from any of the three facets.
  • Own reporting cadence — publish weekly/monthly/quarterly insights reports spanning content performance, learner satisfaction, and business impact; own progress comms and slideware.
  • Ensure delivery and adoption — analysis and dashboards must ship into actual use and drive real changes to content across all three facets, not just get built or read.
  • Keep content creators honest to improvement — follow up on flagged issues and opportunities, track whether recommended changes get made, and escalate when they don't.
  • Data fluency — comfortable reading and interpreting dashboards, reports, and underlying data structures well enough to sanity-check the team's work and speak credibly to it with stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3-5 years in program/project coordination, analytics operations, or business intelligence, with real strength in both disciplines rather than just one.
  • Proven ability to run a governance cadence end-to-end: standing up review cycles and ratifying metric definitions with stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to run real project management mechanics — sprint planning, backlog management, capacity planning, and dependency tracking — to keep cross-functional delivery on track.
  • Experienced in reading and interpreting dashboards, reports, and underlying data structures well enough to sanity-check the team's work and speak credibly to it with stakeholders.
  • Sharp, clear communicator — able to turn findings into well-designed slides and documents, and to manage senior stakeholders with confidence.
  • A track record of following through: chasing down whether recommendations actually get acted on, and holding people accountable when they don't — not just publishing a report and moving on.
  • Comfortable spotting a signal and moving fast on it, rather than waiting for the next scheduled review.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct Trailhead or LMS platform experience.
  • Direct survey-program experience.
  • Project management tooling experience (Linear, Jira, or similar).
  • Certified PMP.
  • Tableau Certified.
  • Ability to write basic SQL queries — not required, but a plus for digging into data independently.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce's evolving analytics and approved AI tooling.

What We Look For In Every Hire

  • Learner-first mindset: You design everything with the Trailblazer in mind, not just internal stakeholder requirements.
  • Clear communicator: Your writing and conversations are direct, jargon-free, and respectful of people's time.
  • Collaborative by default: You seek out other perspectives, share your work early, and give feedback that helps.
  • High ownership: You are accountable for your work, proactive about blockers, and remain calm under pressure.
  • Curious about AI and technology: You actively explore how emerging tools can improve what we build for learners.

NOTE: By applying to the Data Analyst posting recruiters and hiring managers across the organization hiring these roles will review your resume. Our goal is for you to apply once and have your resume reviewed by multiple hiring teams.
