Manager- Design & Engineering
Position Summary
Responsibilities include developing detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation and delivering every project on time within budget and scope. also, coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Position Demands
- Essentials:
B. Tech with having 8+ Years of solid experience in solar and wind projects execution in IndiaExcellent client-facing/ EPC and internal communication skills.Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in solar -with all technology -Fixed tilt, seasonal and SAT.
- Desirable:Minimum 500 MW-Grid connected(CTU) project for Solar
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Create plans for solar energy system design and engineering activities
- Conduct engineering site audits to collect electrical, civil and related site information for use in the design of solar power systems.
- Design or coordinate design of photovoltaic (PV) including system components
- Create electrical single-line diagrams, cable schedules, loss calculation earthing and lighting calculation, equipment sizing, plant layout on diagrams for solar electric systems, using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Create graphical representations of energy production systems.
- Review specifications and recommend engineering or manufacturing changes to achieve solar design objectives.
- Recommend technical design or process changes to improve efficiency, quality, or performance.
- Develop design specifications and functional requirements for utility solar energy systems or components.
- Determine design criteria or specifications.
- Provide technical direction or support to installation teams during installation, start-up, testing, system commissioning, or performance monitoring.
- Perform computer simulation of solar photovoltaic (PV) generation system performance or energy production to optimize efficiency.
- Develop standard operation procedures and quality or safety standards for solar work.
- Analyze costs and benefits of proposed designs or projects.
