How you'll contribute

A Systems Analyst Identifies opportunities for business process improvements using information technologies.

  • Provides technical leadership, guidance, and assistance to user departments in evaluating, selecting, installing, and supporting automated information systems.
  • Assists in analyzing, specifying, reviewing, and implementing a total hospital information system.
  • Responsible for managing telephone system and installation and maintenance of network equipment.
  • Responsible for planning and service associated with PCs and peripherals, printers, phone system, wireless phone system, cable plant management, and Nurse Call.
  • Analyzes business processes and data to identify opportunities to automate and/or improve existing processes using information technology.
  • Provides application and system level support, as well as hardware support as needed.
  • Serves as a consultant to management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures.
  • Serves as key customer contact for inquiries and resolution of customer issues.

Applicants should have:

  • Associate degree preferred
  • Prefer 3-4 years’ electronic repair experience on PCs and PC based equipment.
  • Vendor-specific training required for supported hardware devices.
  • Two years recent experience in a hospital information systems department.
  • Experience in evaluating, selecting, and/or installing automated information systems.
  • Prefer experience with multiple systems running on various platforms.
