Today, global enterprises use Nametag across their workforce to prevent social engineering and deepfake impersonation attacks.

The Role

We're looking for a Technical Writer to own Nametag’s technical documentation for customers to You will write user manuals, step-by-step instructions, and FAQs so our users can use our software with ease

This is a hands-on, high-impact role. You'll work closely with engineering and product leadership to make critical decisions about how we guide our customers, and then execute on them. If you've thrived in fast-moving environments and care deeply about process documentation and customer experience, we'd love to meet you.

What you’ll do

Create and Maintain User Documentation

Write user manuals, API guides, release notes, and online help FAQs.

Follow and maintain company style guides to ensure consistent messaging across all documents.

Review existing documentation regularly to fix errors and add new feature updates.

Analyze feedback

Use customer support data to improve confusing parts of the guides.

Track page views and user ratings to measure document helpfulness.

Audit systems

Test software directly to ensure the accuracy of the steps written in the manuals.

What You Bring

Work authorization required: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future need for visa sponsorship.

You do not need to match every bullet. We care most about strong judgment and process documentation ownership.

  • 5+ years of experience turning complex processes into simple documentation.
  • Understanding user experience principles to layout articles intuitively.
  • Experience working within fast-paced software development cycles and sprints.
  • Knowledge of languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or Python to document APIs.
  • Bonus Points: Experience working in a security, identity, or B2B SaaS environment.
