This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst based in the United States.
This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, data, technology, and analytics, helping transform complex information into actionable insights. You will analyze, integrate, and visualize large datasets while developing scalable data solutions that support enterprise decision-making. Working across business and technology teams, you will translate needs into clear requirements, user stories, data processes, and delivery plans. Accountabilities
• Analyze, integrate, manipulate, and visualize complex datasets using SQL and enterprise data management, cloud, business intelligence, and automation tools.
• Develop long-term data solutions in collaboration with IT, consolidating multiple business-generated data sources into scalable repositories using platforms such as Snowflake and Azure.
• Elicit, document, analyze, and prioritize business and technical requirements based on user needs, business objectives, and industry standards.
• Develop project plans, timelines, requirements documentation, and Agile user stories to support successful solution delivery.
• Partner with business and IT stakeholders across reporting, analytics, operations, sales channels, and related functions to coordinate cross-functional initiatives.
• Document end-to-end data processes, including business rules, source-to-target mappings, process flow diagrams, and other technical documentation.
• Establish and maintain data quality standards while validating the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of delivered solutions.
• Conduct root-cause analysis to support issue triage, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex data and systems problems.
• Represent customer and business priorities throughout requirements gathering, development, testing, and implementation.
• Lead and support change management activities while maintaining accurate and up-to-date requirements documentation.
• Support production deployments, system releases, and incident monitoring, including occasional evening or weekend coverage when required.
• Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives while operating with considerable independence and influencing broader departmental direction.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years of technical experience in data analysis, business intelligence, systems analysis, or a related field; alternatively, a master’s degree plus 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Advanced hands-on experience with T-SQL, PL/SQL, TOAD, Azure, Microsoft Power Platform, Snowflake, Databricks, and related data management and visualization technologies.
• Advanced SQL skills, including querying, data manipulation, integration, and working with large and complex datasets.
• Experience with API integration, data mining, cost-benefit analysis, and developing impactful data visualizations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, communication, and technical documentation skills.
• Experience gathering and translating business requirements into actionable technical specifications and Agile user stories.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and distributed teams across multiple organizational levels.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines while maintaining close attention to detail.
• Highly quality-focused and committed to delivering reliable products, services, and data solutions.
• Advanced degree in mathematics, economics, finance, statistics, computer science, engineering, data science, business administration, or another quantitative discipline is preferred.
• Azure Data Fundamentals or Snowflake SNOWPRO certification is preferred.
• Advanced experience with Databricks, Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate is advantageous.
• Expertise in forecasting, simulation, and predictive modeling is a plus.
• Experience with the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and user story development is preferred.
• Experience working with healthcare data and integrating disparate datasets is beneficial.
• Candidates must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents; employment sponsorship or immigration work authorization requiring employer submission is not available for this position.
• A dedicated, interruption-free home workspace is required to protect sensitive information, with home internet providing at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.
• Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to support production releases or incident monitoring.
• Occasional travel for training or meetings may be required.

• Annual base salary of $80,900–$110,300, depending on geographic location, qualifications, experience, education, certifications, and other job-related factors.
