Job Summary
The Data Quality Engineer (AR14) ensures the reliability, integrity, and auditability of enterprise data platforms by validating data pipelines and supporting trusted reporting, analytics, and business decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Validate ingestion, transformation, and movement of data across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.
- Test data completeness, accuracy, conformity, lineage, business rules, and exception handling.
- Analyze source-to-target mappings and validate schema and transformation logic.
- Execute batch, incremental, and CDC validation activities.
- Perform large-volume data validation and defect investigation.
- Validate data lineage, traceability, and auditability requirements.
- Support quality assurance for structured and semi-structured data.
Requirements
- Experience with ETL/ELT, data warehouse, data lake, and lakehouse testing.
- Strong knowledge of data quality validation, source-to-target mapping, and transformation testing.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark.
- Experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, and Delta Lake.
- Familiarity with Kafka/Event Hub and Azure DevOps.
- Experience using data-quality and profiling tools.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
