Senior Datacenter Network Build & Migration Engineer

Location: Pune  

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Senior Datacenter Network Build & Migration Engineer to lead critical datacenter network build, migration, and transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will be an expert-level network engineer with deep experience in Cisco and Arista technologies, datacenter fabrics, routing and switching, migration planning, production cutovers, and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and implement enterprise datacenter network infrastructure.
  • Lead datacenter migration and transformation projects from planning through execution.
  • Develop detailed migration strategies, MOPs (Method of Procedure), implementation plans, and rollback procedures.
  • Execute production cutovers with minimal business disruption.
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Cisco and Arista network devices.
  • Work on datacenter fabric technologies including Spine-Leaf, VXLAN, EVPN, and related architectures.
  • Perform advanced L2/L3 troubleshooting across complex network environments.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure, application, security, and operations teams during migration activities.
  • Ensure network stability, performance, and operational readiness post-migration.
  • Provide technical leadership and independently drive project deliverables.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 12+ years of hands-on networking experience.
  • Strong expertise in Cisco and Arista networking platforms.
  • Extensive experience with Datacenter Network Build and Migration projects.
  • Deep understanding of Routing & Switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, and related technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with EVPN-VXLAN, Spine-Leaf architectures, and Datacenter Fabrics.
  • Proven experience in creating and executing MOPs, rollback plans, and cutover strategies.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in large-scale production environments.
  • Experience managing critical maintenance windows and production migrations.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CCNP/CCIE (Enterprise or Data Center).
  • Experience with Cisco ACI and Arista EOS.
  • Exposure to automation tools such as Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
  • Experience in enterprise or financial services environments.
