This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a DAI Data Integration/Replication Engineer based in United States.
This role supports a federal data integration program focused on Oracle E-Business Suite data, business intelligence, and analytics. You will design, maintain, and optimize replication pipelines that move critical financial and operational data into modern analytics environments. Working with technologies such as Oracle GoldenGate and Qlik Replicate, you will help ensure data is synchronized, reliable, and ready for reporting and decision-making. The position combines hands-on engineering with troubleshooting, documentation, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with BI, security, and infrastructure teams in a technically demanding environment. This is a fully remote opportunity with no required travel and significant exposure to large-scale government technology initiatives.

Accountabilities:
- Implement and maintain data replication pipelines using technologies such as Oracle GoldenGate and Qlik Replicate.
- Support replication of Oracle E-Business Suite data assets across heterogeneous source and target environments.
- Manage data ingestion and synchronization between Oracle EBS and analytics platforms.
- Monitor replication performance, throughput, latency, availability, and fault tolerance.
- Tune replication processes to improve reliability, performance, and data delivery.
- Diagnose replication failures and conduct root-cause analysis for data movement issues.
- Investigate latency bottlenecks, synchronization problems, and data-quality mismatches.
- Maintain reliable data pipelines supporting business intelligence, reporting, KPIs, and analytics workloads.
- Collaborate with BI and reporting teams to ensure replicated data structures meet downstream analytical requirements.
- Develop and maintain operational documentation, data flow diagrams, configuration baselines, and technical procedures.
- Support environment upgrades, software patching, migrations, and related replication activities.
- Coordinate data integration changes across development, testing, and production environments.
- Support federal compliance, audit readiness, and data governance requirements for financial and operational reporting.
- Work with security and information assurance teams to ensure replication components meet applicable cybersecurity and enclave requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in data integration processes, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with technical and functional stakeholders to resolve complex integration challenges.
- Support a collaborative engineering environment where complex problem-solving and clear communication are essential.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of Oracle implementation and sustainment experience.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate and/or Qlik Replicate.
- Experience configuring replication across heterogeneous source and target databases.
- Knowledge of both batch and real-time data replication approaches.
- Strong SQL skills across Oracle and cross-platform database environments.
- Working knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite data models and financial or operational modules.
- Experience supporting data pipelines for business intelligence and reporting workloads.
- Ability to troubleshoot replication failures, performance issues, latency bottlenecks, and data-quality discrepancies.
- Strong analytical and root-cause problem-solving skills.
- Ability to create and maintain technical documentation, data flow diagrams, and configuration records.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills when working across technical, BI, security, and business teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a complex, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain an IT-2 background investigation is required.
- Experience integrating data into Advana is preferred.
- Experience with Databricks, Qlik dashboards, or related analytics pipelines is a plus.
- Familiarity with Department of Defense financial management systems or federal Oracle EBS shared-service implementations is desirable.
- Experience working with Agile or SAFe methodologies is a plus.
