Full description

Do you get a buzz from solving access issues and keeping people connected to the systems they need? Then step into our Oracle Business Support team and be the first line IAM specialist, helping colleagues get in, stay secure, and keep our Oracle Fusion environment running smoothly, whilst signposting to self service support material.

As an Oracle Business Support Analyst focused on access, you’ll be the friendly face of access for Oracle Fusion and related systems. You’ll handle day‑to‑day triage of access requests, log and process incidents, fix common login and role issues, and keep records clean and audit‑ready. You’ll support user lifecycle processes (joiners, movers, leavers), help test quarterly releases, maintain clear access documentation, and spot patterns and improvements in how we manage access.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have RQF Level 2 (or equivalent) in English and Maths, or can show you’re working at that level at assessment.
  • Are comfortable with data – you take pride in accurate input, checking details, and keeping things tidy.
  • Communicate clearly with different people, tailoring how you explain things so everyone “gets it”.
  • Can juggle a mixed workload, handle the odd tight deadline, and stay calm when it’s busy.
  • Care about good customer service and are confident using Microsoft 365 tools and modern devices as part of your day‑to‑day work.

A strong candidate for a First Line Support role should possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ensuring they can effectively assist users with technical issues. They should have a basic understanding of IT systems, troubleshooting techniques, and customer service principles. The ability to work under pressure, follow standard operating procedures, and escalate complex issues appropriately is essential. Strong attention to detail, patience, and a proactive attitude toward learning new technologies will help them succeed in this role. Prior experience in customer support or technical assistance is advantageous but not always required.

In this IAM‑focused role, you’ll be right at the centre of how we control access to Oracle Fusion – building practical experience in security, access management, audit, and releases in a busy, modern support environment. You’ll grow your OCI skills, learn from colleagues across the business, and play a key part in keeping our systems both usable and secure.

We offer a diverse range of benefits to help and support you during your employment. More information can be found on our benefits page.

If you thrive on the challenge and you are at your best when you’re busy, we are the place for you. The first line support role is the perfect stepping stone to building your knowledge and building confidence. We want you to be part of a succession plan, where you grow into roles, as the team grows, and in turn, we want you to lay a benchmark for the person who follows you into first line.
