Seeking Project Managers with a strong electrical background for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Dallas, TX.

Salary: $120K - $135K (based on experience)

The Senior Construction Project Manager provides full project leadership and accountability for end-to-end construction project delivery. This role manages project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to required quality standards.

The position requires advanced knowledge of construction activities, methodologies, and industry standards, along with the ability to resolve complex execution, financial, contractual, stakeholder, and risk-related issues.

The Senior Construction Project Manager also leads and develops project team members, including Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers, through coaching, feedback, training, and performance oversight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop project teams by establishing expectations, providing coaching and feedback, supporting professional development, and fostering continuous skill growth.
  • Direct end-to-end project execution, monitoring progress, resolving complex issues, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring projects meet schedule, quality, and performance objectives.
  • Drive project safety and quality by maintaining a strong field presence, participating in safety meetings, supporting project-specific safety and quality programs, and proactively identifying and mitigating construction risks.
  • Manage procurement and subcontractor coordination, including the selection and approval of project materials, equipment, and specialty trade subcontractors to support project schedules and field requirements.
  • Manage project financials and contracts, including budgeting, financial performance, contract administration, and negotiations to achieve project objectives and mitigate risk.
  • Communicate project status and risks to stakeholders, providing clear updates on progress, changes, challenges, and required actions.
  • Evaluate project performance and implement corrective actions and process improvements to address issues and improve project outcomes.
  • Maintain project documentation to support compliance, reporting, project administration, and future reference.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Master's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction engineering, project engineering, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a managerial or leadership capacity.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification must be completed within 6 months of hire if not already held.
