Help shape the future of one of Australia's leading wealth platforms.

We're looking for an experienced Risk professional to join our Enterprise Risk team as a Senior Manager Risk, Wrap Product and Investments. Reporting to the Head of Risk – Wrap Platforms, you'll provide independent Line 2 risk oversight across our Wrap platform products and services, including Superannuation, IDPS, Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs), Managed Discretionary Accounts (MDAs) and investments.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of product, investments and risk, partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver practical, commercial risk advice while supporting a significant transformation agenda. You'll play a key role in strengthening governance, enhancing risk maturity and helping deliver better outcomes for our clients and members.

What you'll be doing

  • Partner with Line 1 teams to embed Group and Trustee Risk and Compliance Frameworks across the Wrap Platforms business.
  • Provide independent Line 2 risk oversight and constructive challenge across Wrap Platforms, including Superannuation, IDPS, SMAs, MDAs and investments.
  • Review business plans, policies and Executive, Board and Committee papers, providing strategic risk input on governance, compliance, regulatory obligations and conflicts of interest.
  • Assess the effectiveness of controls and processes to strengthen governance, manage regulatory risk and support control excellence.
  • Support the management of incidents, breaches and conflicts of interest, contributing informed judgement on regulatory obligations, reportability and appropriate remediation.
  • Foster a strong risk culture by encouraging curiosity, constructive challenge and continuous improvement across the business.

What you'll bring

  • A tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Law or a related discipline.
  • Strong experience within Wrap Platforms, with deep knowledge of Superannuation, IDPS, SMAs, MDAs, investments and the broader wealth management ecosystem.
  • A sound understanding of Trustee obligations, platform governance and the Australian financial services regulatory environment.
  • Extensive experience in Operational Risk, Compliance or Enterprise Risk, with a proven ability to provide independent Line 2 oversight and constructive challenge.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks, governance practices and control environments, with experience uplifting risk capability and improving processes.
  • A naturally curious and analytical mindset, with the confidence to ask insightful questions, challenge appropriately and influence better decision-making.
  • Demonstrated success building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and balancing commercial objectives with sound risk management.
  • Experience working in complex organisations undergoing transformation, providing pragmatic and solutions-focused risk advice through change.
