Job Summary:The Data Solutions Engineer II is responsible for designing and implementing intermediate data solutions that support business intelligence and analytics. This role bridges the gap between data analysis and advanced engineering by exposing data through enterprise platforms and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and maintainable data solutions.
- Collaborate to implement data models and schemas to support data needs of the business.
- Expose data through enterprise data platforms for end-user consumption.
- Collaborate with business and internal teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with business, data, and architecture teams to capture, document, and analyze requirements for advanced data solutions.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and integration processes.
- Ensure data solutions are documented, tested, and aligned with business needs.
- Support data quality and governance initiatives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in collaboration with other teams.
- Demonstrate the established “TRUCKS” cultural principles of transparency, responsiveness and resiliency, understanding, continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and simplicity throughout the organization.

Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in computer science, data engineering, or related field required.
- 3 or more years of previous experience in data engineering or business intelligence roles required. 6 or more years preferred.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing data models and integration pipelines required.
- Proficiency in data exposure and virtualization platforms required.
- Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases required.
- Experience collaborating in team-oriented, cross-functional environments required.
- Must have exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
- Must be able to lift approximately 20 lbs., or more if required by the essential functions of the job
- Must be able to comply with all company policies, rules, procedures and Code of Conduct
- Must be able to interact well with others
- Must be able to work independently, or in a team setting
- Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high volume environment with multiple priorities
- Responds well to questions; Ability to read, interpret and comply with written information and documents such as safety rules, operations / procedure manuals and maintenance instructions with a high comprehension and concentration level to include the ability to meet deadlines
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, random drug and/or alcohol tests, and will be subject to a criminal history background check
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
