Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced SRE / SysOps Engineer to support production Linux environments and contribute to the reliability, availability and security of critical digital services. The role combines systems administration, incident troubleshooting, patching, disaster recovery and operational automation in a cloud-oriented environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Linux / RedHat production systems, ensuring high availability and performance in line with agreed service levels.
- Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve system-related incidents and availability issues.
- Perform system updates and patch management, including security updates.
- Contribute to disaster recovery planning and testing to support business continuity and system resilience.
- Configure and improve automation tools and scripts to increase operational efficiency.
- Work with security teams to support compliance requirements in the Linux environment.
- Support the deployment, management and operation of systems hosted on cloud platforms.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Linux systems administration or a similar infrastructure role.
- Strong knowledge of RedHat and/or CentOS environments.
- Good understanding of cloud principles and operational best practices.
- Experience with system monitoring, troubleshooting and performance optimization.
- Experience with business continuity and disaster recovery procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to operations.
Desired skills
- Experience in financial services, payments or another highly regulated environment.
- Exposure to PCI DSS or similar security/compliance standards.
