About our role:

As a Financial Reporting Analyst, you will manage monthly reporting and play a key role in guiding the global business segment through quarterly forecasts and annual budgets. You will be responsible for financial data management to ensure smooth global consolidation. You will need problem solving skills; a proactive, drive-for-results attitude; and an understanding of financial systems and structure.

What you will do:

  • Budget and forecast support – create upload templates; assist with timeline and guideline adherence; develop annual budget and monthly forecast reviews to ensure accuracy and thoroughness; identify & help realize opportunities for standardization, efficiencies, and process improvements; support fixed departments as assigned, including creating budgets and forecasts and tracking actual results.
  • Create, maintain, run and distribute consolidation reporting packages in adherence to global timelines and reporting standards.
  • Find, research, troubleshoot and correct root cause of variances to ensure accuracy.
  • Financial data management – take lead role in reporting hierarchy design for smooth consolidation, lead reporting projects end-to-end as requested to incorporate new geographies and/or brands into our existing reporting structure; maintain relationships with key contacts in all geographies we report against.
  • Continuously improve upon reporting applications and tools.
  • Utilize various software to improve financial reports and the ability to drive the business from the data provided, and/or use data efficiency tools to streamline finance workflows.
  • Train others on improvements made and/or new tools as requested.
  • Provide support on ad hoc reports, data gathering requests and special projects as needed - including but not limited to: Maintaining the Global SKU database; updating and publishing accurate Global SKU Power BI reports; leading the organization, collection and tracking of new product launches; calculating and reconciling global royalties, following established accounting guidelines.

What you will need:

  • 3+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, or management reporting required
  • Basic understanding of general accounting guidelines
  • Experience with consolidations/multi-country environment preferred
  • Must possess advanced Excel skills with basic skills in PowerPoint & Microsoft Word
  • Experience with data analytic software such as PowerBI and Alteryx a plus
  • Experience in SAP and EPM/BPC (or similar ERP applications) a plus
