Accountabilities: The Backend Java Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving robust software solutions while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality products.

• Develop and evolve backend applications, ensuring quality, performance, scalability, and reliability for business-critical solutions.

• Analyze and solve technical challenges by proposing efficient, sustainable, and well-structured solutions.

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations between different systems and services.

• Participate in agile ceremonies, technical refinements, architecture discussions, and team decision-making processes.

• Conduct code reviews and promote best practices to improve code quality and knowledge sharing across the team.

• Develop and maintain unit tests to ensure application reliability and delivery confidence.

• Use version control, development tools, and team management platforms to maintain transparency and predictability.

• Leverage Artificial Intelligence tools in daily development activities to improve productivity, code analysis, and engineering efficiency.

• Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to create scalable and maintainable solutions aligned with software engineering best practices.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have strong backend development experience with Java technologies, a solid understanding of software engineering principles, and the ability to work effectively in agile environments.

• Professional experience with Java 11 or higher.

• Strong knowledge of Spring Framework and CDI.

• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Experience with code reviews and software quality practices.

• Knowledge of unit testing using JUnit or equivalent testing frameworks.

• Understanding of clean code principles, Clean Architecture, and modern development practices.

• Experience with Git and version control workflows.

• Experience working with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, using tools like Jira.

• Experience using Artificial Intelligence tools within software development workflows.

• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and ability to investigate technical challenges.

• Collaborative mindset, good communication skills, and willingness to share knowledge.

Nice-to-have qualifications:

• Experience with MongoDB.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, especially Application Insights and API Management.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly using GitHub Actions.

• Previous experience working on financial sector projects or high-availability environments.
