Job Description:

PRINCIPAL SOFTWARE ARCHITECT ( 100% Remote)

A highly experienced Principal Software Architect with over 5 years of experience driving enterprise software development, cloud‑native platform architecture, and digital modernization initiatives. Brings deep expertise in designing scalable and secure systems, enabling AI‑assisted software engineering, building task‑specific AI agents, and advancing platform innovation across AWS, Kubernetes, Databricks, enterprise integration, and Generative AI technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design and guide cloud‑native, scalable, and secure enterprise architectures, modernization strategies, and technical standards aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Lead software architecture practices, establish engineering standards, mentor development teams, and modernize enterprise applications using cloud‑native patterns.
  • Architect enterprise platforms on AWS and Kubernetes, defining frameworks that strengthen scalability, security, reliability, and developer efficiency.
  • Accelerate enterprise adoption of Generative AI by creating task‑specific AI agents, enabling AI‑assisted software engineering, and promoting spec‑driven development with tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.
  • Develop enterprise data integration and analytics solutions using Databricks, incorporating third‑party APIs and designing scalable, high‑performance data architectures.
  • Architect secure identity and access solutions using Zero Trust, OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, Okta, and Keycloak to ensure platform security and regulatory compliance.

The likely salary range for this position is $148,750 - $201,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
