Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in UI and API automation using Playwright and Selenium. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in designing automation frameworks, integrating with CI/CD pipelines, and working in Agile environments. You will collaborate closely with development and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality, scalable, and reliable test automation.

Mode of Work: Full time

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium and Playwright

• Develop and execute UI and API automation for web applications

• Implement automation frameworks using POM, TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber

• Perform cross-browser testing and ensure consistent behavior across environments

• Debug automation failures, analyze root causes, and maintain detailed test reports

• Collaborate with Development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases

• Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to test planning and strategy

Requirements:

• 5–7 years of total experience in QA automation

• Minimum 3+ years of strong hands-on experience in Java + Selenium

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript)

• Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript

• Hands-on experience in automation framework development using POM, TestNG/JUnit/Cucumber

• Experience in API testing using Postman or RestAssured

• Good exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps

• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Excellent problem‑solving, debugging, and analytical skills

Good To Have Skills:

• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling

• Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes for test execution environments

• Knowledge of BDD frameworks and best practices

• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs)

• Knowledge of database testing (SQL, stored procedures)

• Familiarity with version control strategies (GitFlow, trunk-based)

• Understanding of security testing basics (OWASP, authentication flows)
