About Moss Consulting

Moss Consulting helps companies build stronger HR practices through hands-on consulting, in-person events, and long-term client relationships. We are investing in a bigger, more consistent presence across social media to share our team, our client work, and the people behind Moss Consulting.

The Role

We're looking for a Social Media Graphic Designer to take ownership of our day-to-day content production and posting. You'll start by turning a backlog of photos and videos into a steady stream of polished, platform-ready posts, then take on additional recurring content series — market trip promotion, team member spotlights, and client spotlights — as you get up to speed.

You'll have a real hand in shaping how Moss Consulting sounds and looks — this isn't just execution on design, it's helping set our tone through both visuals and copy.

What You'll Do

  • Turn finished video and photo assets into platform-ready social posts for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts
  • Design graphics in Canva, tailored to each platform's format and audience
  • Write and edit clear, on-brand captions and copy for every post
  • Schedule and manage a posting cadence of 5–7 posts per week using HubSpot's social tools
  • Execute recurring content series — team member spotlights, client spotlights, and market-trip/travel promotion campaigns — from source material provided by our team
  • Turn stories, updates, and photos from our leadership team into engaging, on-brand posts
  • Maintain consistent visual and written quality across all channels
  • Incorporate feedback and revisions quickly to hit weekly publishing deadlines
  • Track your hours through time entries, since this is an hourly position

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in graphic design and/or social media content creation
  • Strong skills in both graphic design and written copy — production and editing — you'll be shaping our tone as much as our visuals
  • Strong working knowledge of Canva (or a similar design tool)
  • Experience using HubSpot for social posting and marketing campaigns is a strong plus
  • Experience managing social media for a professional services company (law, dental, financial, consulting, or similar) is a strong plus
  • Solid understanding of platform-specific content formats and best practices (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts)
  • Ability to turn video and photos into polished, on-message posts with minimal direction
  • Comfortable managing a steady weekly content cadence across multiple concurrent content series
  • Self-starter who works well independently and stays reasonably available during business hours

Compensation & Logistics

  • Full-time, hourly, paid $45,000–$55,000/year equivalent ($21.63 – $26.44 /hour), depending on experience and relevant skillset
  • Fully remote — work from anywhere, and set your own hours, as long as you're reasonably available during our core business hours with some notice
  • Hourly role: time is tracked through time entries
  • Health insurance and PTO aren't offered yet — we're actively building those programs, and this role will be eligible once they launch
