About the role

In this opportunity as a Data Scientist, you will: 

  • Build digital solutions for various HR processes and workflows, People Analytics products, and related tools, using React front-end and FastAPI backend architectures 
  • Design and maintain backend data systems, including strong hands-on work with Snowflake, and build LLM-based workflows and Agentic AI solutions to support HR and People Analytics use cases 
  • Take the initiative to tackle new business problems and have the curiosity to explore large volumes of data 
  • Seamlessly work with various business stakeholders, understand their individual needs and design custom solutions 
  • Will interrogate data, conduct independent research, utilize various techniques to analyze it and, if need be, tackle ambiguous problems with maturity 

About you

You're a fit for the role of Data Scientist if your background includes: 

  • Must have at least 2-4 years of experience working in the data science domain 
  • Knowledge of advanced statistical modelling, testing, data mining, and data science techniques 
  • Has used modelling frameworks including Scikit-learn, PyTorch, and TensorFlow 
  • Highly proficient in Python and SQL (or any other querying language) 
  • Has advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills 
  • Experience developing applications using React and FastAPI is a plus 
  • Experience developing AI-powered workflows or tools (e.g., LLM-based agents, automation pipelines) is a plus 
  • Strong logical and scientific approach to problem-solving 
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to communicate complex results in a simple and concise manner at all levels within the organization 
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment 
  • Has experience building machine learning algorithms and implementing models in production 
  • Conceptual understanding of Hadoop and cloud computing like AWS 
  • Demonstrated participation on platforms like Kaggle is a plus 
  • Experience using Amazon Web services is a plus 
  • Experience with one or more of the following types of business analytics applications: 
  • Sentiment Analysis and Topic Modelling 
  • Predictive Modelling 
  • Customer Segmentation / Profiling 
  • Designing & Implementing AI/LLM workflows, including prompt engineering 
  • Recommendation engines
