QA Automation Engineer 

Required Experience 

2+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA), with hands-on experience in functional testing and web application automation. 

Role Overview 

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with experience in software testing design, execution, and automation, hands-on automation experience, strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable and high-quality software solutions. 

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, high-quality software deliveries. 

The role will be responsible for validating application quality through functional testing, automated testing, API validation, and defect tracking while working closely with development, product, and business teams. 

Experience with Playwright for test automation, knowledge of testing frameworks, and the ability to work within agile development teams are required. 

 

Required Qualifications 

  • 2+ years of experience in QA Software Testing. 
  • Experience performing manual functional testing. 
  • Experience designing and executing test cases. 
  • Experience with test automation (minimum 1 year). 
  • Proven experience using Playwright. 
  • Experience performing API testing using Postman. 
  • Experience managing defects using tools such as JIRA. 
  • Ability to analyze requirements and define acceptance criteria. 

 

Technical Skills 

  • Playwright (mandatory requirement). 
  • Java. 
  • Selenium. 
  • Cucumber. 
  • BDD (Behavior Driven Development). 
  • Web UI test automation. 
  • REST API testing. 
  • Visual Studio Code or other IDEs. 
  • QA documentation and test evidence management. 
  • Git / Version Control (nice to have). 
  • Agile methodologies: Scrum / Kanban. 

  

Responsibilities 

  • Analyze functional and technical requirements, as well as acceptance criteria. 
  • Design, execute, and maintain functional and automated test cases. 
  • Create, maintain, and execute automation scripts using Playwright. 
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and user acceptance testing (UAT). 
  • Execute API testing using tools such as Postman. 
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using tools such as JIRA. 
  • Generate test evidence, reports, and QA documentation. 
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify risks and improve software quality. 
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and full software development lifecycle activities. 

 

ADVANCED CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH AND SPANISH ESSENTIAL (Will be evaluated).

Salary: $84,000 gross.
