RoR Job Summary

As a Ruby on Rails Engineer, you’ll work on building and maintaining robust web applications that deliver a real value to our users. We need an experienced developer who can handle both frontend and backend development using Ruby on Rails. You'll be working in a collaborative environment, tackling interesting challenges, and contributing to all aspects of our application development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Rails - Develop and maintain Ruby on Rails applications
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features
  • Test and debug applications to ensure optimal performance
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices
  • Handle both frontend and backend development tasks

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with Ruby on Rails framework
  • Above-average communication skills
  • Strong command of the English language, including professional writing and speaking skills, is essential
  • Full Stack development experience (frontend and backend)
  • Solid understanding of web application architecture
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Problem-solving attitude and ability to work in a team
  • Familiarity with Git version control

Preferences:

  • Experience with Hotwire (Turbo and Stimulus)
  • Testing experience with RSpec
  • jQuery knowledge (for legacy code maintenance)
  • Familiarity with Haml templating (for legacy code maintenance)
  • Docker containerization experience
  • CSS framework experience with Foundation
  • Experience with Tailwind CSS
