Business Systems Analyst
Help Build the Software That Builds Medical Devices
Do you love solving problems, improving processes, and turning ideas into better software?
At Rose Medical, we don't just manufacture life-changing medical devices—we build the systems behind them.
We're looking for a Business Systems Analyst who enjoys asking questions, solving business challenges, and turning ideas into software solutions that make a real impact. In this role, you'll partner with employees across our organization to understand their needs, improve business processes, and help enhance our in-house Quality Management System (QMS) and related business applications.
If you enjoy connecting business needs with technology, collaborating with talented people, and seeing your work make a meaningful difference, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
As our Business Systems Analyst, you'll play a key role in shaping the software our employees use every day.
You'll:
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for new software features and process enhancements.
- Facilitate discovery sessions to define project scope, workflows, business rules, data needs, and priorities.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications for our software development team.
- Design, review, or refine PostgreSQL database structures to support new functionality and maintain data integrity.
- Collaborate closely with software developers throughout the development lifecycle.
- Coordinate projects and enhancements from initial request through implementation and post-launch validation.
- Develop and execute quality assurance test plans and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, and troubleshoot software defects.
- Prepare release notes, user documentation, and training materials.
- Support software changes within our FDA-regulated medical device manufacturing environment while promoting quality, compliance, and traceability.
Why This Role Is Different
This isn't a role where you'll simply submit tickets and wait for someone else to solve the problem.
You'll become a trusted partner to employees throughout the company, helping shape software that supports every department—from Quality and Engineering to Manufacturing and Operations.
Your ideas will matter.
Your work will be visible.
And you'll have the opportunity to improve systems that directly support the manufacturing of medical devices that improve patients' lives around the world.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who enjoys both technology and people.
You'll likely be successful if you have experience with:
- Business Systems Analysis
- Software implementation or product delivery
- Requirements gathering and documentation
- Process mapping and workflow analysis
- Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Relational databases (PostgreSQL experience is preferred)
- Working with software developers and cross-functional teams
- Project coordination and change management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Three or more years of experience in Business Systems Analysis, software delivery, quality assurance, or a related role preferred.
- Experience with business requirements documentation, software testing, and software delivery workflows.
- Familiarity with regulated industries, quality systems, or medical device manufacturing is a plus.
