What will you do as Data Analyst:
- Provide day‑to‑day operational support for quarterly carbon data collection and input validation.
- Maintain strong data‑quality control at the input and pre‑processing stage to ensure smooth downstream reporting by the country decarb managers.
- Support the implementation of standardised validation checks, anomaly detection, and country follow‑ups.
- Assist in preparing clean, validated datasets for further analysis and reporting.
- Contribute to audit‑readiness by organising documentation and evidence.
Key qualifications:
Must have:
- Master’s Degree in Data or Environmental Science
- More than 3 years’ experience in data handling, environmental data, or similar analytical support roles.
- Strong skills in Excel, Power BI (basic visuals, data prep), and SQL (simple queries, data extraction).
- Experience with data cleaning, validation, and structured data workflows.
- English proficiency, both written and spoken.
Nice have:
- Familiarity with emissions data or GHG concepts is an advantage but not required.
- Comfortable in repetitive, detail-oriented validation work.
Personal skills:
- Strong attention to detail and careful execution.
- Strong communication and reliability under time pressure.
