Python Full Stack Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Python Full Stack Developer based in India.

As a Python Full Stack Developer, you will design and build scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications across both backend and frontend layers. You will work extensively with Python and modern React.js to deliver robust digital products and intuitive user experiences. The role offers end-to-end ownership across API development, frontend engineering, databases, cloud infrastructure, and application performance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle in a modern Agile environment. A strong focus on automation and AI-assisted development will enable you to improve coding efficiency, debugging, documentation, and overall productivity. You will have the opportunity to work with cloud technologies, containerization, CI/CD, and modern software architecture patterns. Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications using Python and React.js.

• Build secure, reliable, and high-performance REST APIs using Python frameworks such as Django or FastAPI.

• Develop responsive, accessible, and user-friendly frontend interfaces using React.js, modern JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Design and optimize database solutions using PostgreSQL, MySQL, and other relevant data technologies.

• Improve application performance, security, reliability, and scalability across the technology stack.

• Write clean, reusable, well-structured, and maintainable code following software engineering best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle, from technical design through development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

• Participate actively in code reviews, architecture discussions, technical planning, and engineering knowledge-sharing sessions.

• Use Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms such as AWS to support efficient development and deployment workflows.

• Leverage AI-powered development tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar coding assistants to improve development speed, debugging, documentation, and productivity.

• Contribute to technical improvements and architectural decisions that enhance the maintainability and scalability of applications.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python full-stack development and scalable web application engineering.

• Strong expertise in Python and experience with Django and/or FastAPI.

• Solid frontend development experience with React.js and modern JavaScript, including ES6+.

• Strong understanding of REST API design and development, including secure and high-performance API implementation.

• Proficiency with HTML5 and CSS3 and experience creating responsive web interfaces.

• Hands-on experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.

• Experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD practices and pipelines.

• Experience working with AWS or another major cloud platform.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and collaborative software development practices.

• Demonstrated ability to write clean, reusable, testable, and maintainable code.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Proven proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or comparable AI coding assistants.

• Experience with Kubernetes, microservices, Redis/Celery, TypeScript, GraphQL, MongoDB, or AI/LLM API integrations is a strong advantage.
