Job Summary:

We are seeking a Sales Engineer to drive the sales of Ansys Simulation Software in Saudi Arabia and the broader Middle East region, focusing on Energy, Research Institutions, and Startups. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience of B2B Sales in a similar market and a proven track record in selling simulation software from Ansys or its competitors (such as Siemens, Dassault Systems, Altair, or COMSOL).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Target key commercial sectors such as Energy

& relating Manufacturing, Construction, and EPC to drive revenue growth.

  • Identify

and support startup incubators and innovation hubs, positioning Ansys as a key simulation tool for product development and R&D.

  • Work

closely with technical and pre-sales teams to showcase software capabilities and provide training where necessary.

  • Manage

the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to closing deals and account management.

  • Monitor

government and institutional funding programs related to research and education, leveraging opportunities for Ansys adoption.

  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting and pipeline

management using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).

Key Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of sales experience in the Energy,

Research, and Startup ecosystem in region of interest.

  • Prior experience in selling engineering

simulation software (Ansys, Siemens, Dassault Systems, Altair, COMSOL, etc.).

  • Understanding of simulation applications in

research fields, including computational fluid dynamics (CFD), structural analysis (FEA), electromagnetics, and multi-physics modeling.

  • Proven ability to build relationships with

universities, research institutions, and startup founders.

  • Experience working with academic licensing

models and research funding programs.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills in

English (Arabic is a plus), with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Willingness to travel within Saudi Arabia and

the Middle East as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Engineering or Science degree in Mechanical,

Electrical, Electronics Aerospace, or related fields.

  • Experience in university-industry collaboration

projects.

  • Familiarity with regional government initiatives

supporting research and innovation.

  • Strong network within the academic and startup

community in the Middle East.
