At UGL, in partnership with CPB Contractors, we're delivering some of the nation's most significant mission-critical projects and are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our growing Data Centre business.

The Opportunity
As Engineering Manager, you will lead multidisciplinary engineering delivery across major data centre projects from early design development through construction, commissioning and operational readiness.
Working closely with project leadership teams, consultants, construction managers and client stakeholders, you will ensure engineering excellence, program certainty and successful project delivery across highly complex mission-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engineering delivery across major data centre and mission-critical infrastructure projects
- Drive multidisciplinary coordination across mechanical, electrical, controls and specialist systems
- Ensure engineering solutions support constructability, commissioning and operational requirements
- Manage engineering scope, programme, technical risk and change management processes
- Provide technical leadership to internal engineering teams, consultants and project stakeholders
- Champion engineering governance, safety in design and quality assurance outcomes
- Build and mentor high-performing engineering teams while fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation
About You
We're looking for an engineering leader who thrives in complex project environments and enjoys working across the full project lifecycle.
You will bring:
- A degree qualification in Engineering
- Experience leading engineering delivery on data centres, building services, mission-critical facilities or major infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of Design & Construct project delivery models
- Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and consultants
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- A collaborative leadership style and commitment to safety, quality and engineering excellence
- Experience supporting construction, commissioning and operational readiness activities will be highly regarded
