Client: FL Government Agency
Position: Database Administrator
Term: Sept. 2026 - June 2027 with renewal
Pay: = $60/Hr - $62/Hr
Location: ON SITE - Tallahassee, FL
Work Authorization: USC or GC ONLY
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
The candidate must have five (5) years combined experience in database administration for the following database platforms:
- Expert in SQL Server 2012, and above
- Oracle 10g and above
- Experience with GIS and spatial databases
- Experience with Azure & AWS SQLand tools are a plus
- Experience with managing ArcGIS for Server is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Daily operational and database administration activities
- Plan, design, implement, support for database structures
- Conduct database performance monitoring and tuning
- Develop and maintain database administration procedures and documentation
- Perform SQL Code reviews
- Assist with training/mentoring other technical staff This resource may also be required to perform other database or infrastructure activities as requested
- Support database activities for application enhancements and rewrites.
