As a Field Sales Engineer, you will drive profitable growth for Emerson’s Pressure Management portfolio across assigned accounts. Combining technical expertise with a consultative sales approach, you will work closely with customers to understand their operational challenges and recommend solutions that create measurable value. You will represent a market-leading portfolio that includes pressure relief valves, pressure regulators, tank management solutions, and steam products. Through regular customer engagement and collaboration with Business Development Managers, technical specialists, and support teams, you will help strengthen existing partnerships, identify new opportunities, and support sustainable business growth.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Develop and grow sales within existing and strategic customer accounts.
- Conduct regular customer and site visits to understand operations, business drivers, technical requirements, and challenges.
- Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and engage technical and commercial decision-makers.
- Identify new business opportunities, including untapped account potential, new solution adoption, and new customer acquisition.
- Provide technical guidance and present value-based solutions tailored to customer requirements.
- Support opportunity qualification, quotation preparation, commercial negotiations, and order closure.
- Collaborate with Business Development Managers, technical specialists, and support teams to deliver high-quality customer solutions.
- Maintain accurate opportunity pipelines, forecasts, customer visit reports, and CRM records.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify potential growth opportunities.
- Support the achievement of bookings, revenue, product penetration, and customer engagement objectives within the assigned territory.
- Provide consistent and insightful reporting aligned with defined KPIs to drive transparency, alignment, and continuous improvement across assigned accounts, industries, and territories.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification or background.
- Experience in technical sales, application engineering, industrial solution sales, or a related customer-facing technical role.
- The ability to understand customer processes and translate technical requirements into suitable commercial solutions.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
- A customer-focused approach and the ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly for customer meetings and site visits.
- Proficiency in English and the local language required for customer interactions.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Experience working with pressure management products, such as pressure relief valves, pressure regulators, tank management solutions, or steam products.
- Previous experience in the process industry, energy sector, chemical industry, oil and gas, power generation, or another relevant industrial environment.
- Experience managing strategic or key customer accounts.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, opportunity management, sales forecasting, and pipeline reporting.
- Demonstrated experience identifying new business opportunities and expanding product or solution adoption within existing accounts.
